THE WHITE LINe

champions the relentless spirit and love for life of Magnus White, a dedicated 17-year old US National Team cyclist who was tragically struck and killed by a driver while training in his hometown. While the world recognized him as a rising cycling talent, to us he remains the ever-smiling Magnus, who cherished family, friends, and fun above all.

INCREASE AWARENESS OF THE WHITE LINE

LIVES WORTH REMEMBERING Film Series

“The bike was his best friend. Magnus showed me that the power of the bicycle is way greater than I ever imagined, because that character, the person that he became, he became that way in part because of his love of the bike.”

OUR MISSION

To preserve and honor the legacy of Magnus White, using his memory to inspire cyclists around the world and to pay tribute to lives taken too soon. We are dedicated to advocating for the safety of all vulnerable road users and to be a new voice towards creating safer road environments.

OUR INITIATIVES

Through the initiatives we support, we are committed to be like Magnus. To inspire cyclists globally, to imagine and execute things that seemed impossible, and to provide a place to pay tribute to lives worth remembering. The White Line has three distinct areas of support.

Magnus wants us to ride our bikes. We aim to get more kids on bikes and to help more kids race. We are committed to following Magnus’s lead and inspiring others to imagine and then achieve what first seems impossible, to set the pace for others to follow, and to simply have fun on two wheels.

We will advocate for the enactment of state and nationwide laws that impose stricter penalties for careless and reckless driving that results in death or serious injury for all vulnerable road users.

Additionally, we will advocate for immediate and quick improvements to road infrastructure, such as speed cameras, reduced speed limits, rumble strips, double white lines, and enhanced signage

The ‘Lives Worth Remembering’ film series highlights stories of cyclists and other vulnerable road users killed while obeying traffic laws.

Through intimate interviews and compelling visuals, each film honors the victims, showing the profound impact of their loss on individuals and communities.
